We're looking for a Senior Medical Underwriter to join our team! QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, Finance, Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, or a related field. • At least 5 years of experience in medical underwriting or health insurance. • Strong knowledge of medical underwriting and risk assessment. • Experience handling complex medical cases and high-value risks. • Good knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements. • Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills. • Ability to guide, train, and support junior underwriters. • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic. • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and underwriting systems. • Ability to analyze insurance data and identify risks and trends. • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Review and approve complex medical cases within authorized limits. • Guide and train junior team members. • Develop and improve underwriting policies and procedures. • Monitor insurance portfolio performance and identify risks. • Work with doctors, brokers, and business partners to assess medical risks. • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies. • Support the development of new insurance products and strategies. • Prepare reports and recommendations for management. • Improve team efficiency and service quality.
