🚀 We’re Hiring | Head of Credit and Market Risk Kalamntina is looking for an experienced Head of Credit and Market Risk to join a leading financial institution in Jordan. Key Responsibilities: ▪️ Lead the development and implementation of credit and market risk management strategies, policies, and frameworks. ▪️ Oversee credit portfolio quality, market risk exposures, risk limits, and mitigation strategies. ▪️ Identify, assess, monitor, and manage credit and market risks in line with the institution’s approved risk appetite. ▪️ Develop and oversee risk assessment models, stress testing, scenario analysis, and early warning systems. ▪️ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, Basel frameworks, and internal risk management policies. ▪️ Monitor key risk indicators, identify emerging risks, and recommend appropriate corrective actions. ▪️ Prepare and present comprehensive risk reports, analysis, and recommendations to executive management and relevant committees. ▪️ Lead and develop the Credit Risk and Market Risk teams, ensuring operational efficiency and continuous improvement. ▪️ Strengthen risk governance, internal controls, and the overall risk management framework. ▪️ Collaborate with senior management and relevant departments to support strategic decision-making and maintain effective risk oversight. Requirements: ▪️ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. ▪️ A Master’s degree is preferred. 8–10 years of relevant experience in banking, financial institutions, or risk management. ▪️ At least 3–5 years of experience in a senior management or leadership role within Credit Risk, Market Risk, or a related function.Strong knowledge of Basel regulations, risk governance, credit risk assessment, and market risk management. ▪️ Proven experience in risk modeling, portfolio analysis, stress testing, and regulatory reporting. 📩 Interested candidates are invited to share their updated CVs at jobs@kalamntina.com .
