We're looking for a technical support engineer with practical Linux skills to join our operations team in Dubai. This is an L1 role, well suited to someone early in their career who wants to build hands-on experience in a live production environment.

المهام والمسؤوليات

• Monitor Linux servers and respond to alerts in a live production environment
• Perform first-level troubleshooting and escalate issues with clear diagnostic detail
• Handle routine tasks: service checks, log analysis, user management and patching
• Log and manage incidents through the ticketing system within SLA
• Keep resolutions and procedures well documented for the wider team

المتطلبات

• 1–3 years of experience in technical support, system administration or NOC operations
• Hands-on Linux experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu or similar): navigating the command line, managing services, reading logs and checking system resources
• Working knowledge of MySQL
• Availability for rotating shifts, including night shifts and on-call support
• Currently in the UAE and available to join immediately
• Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
• Clear written and verbal communication, and good documentation habits
