📢 WE ARE HIRING | SURVEY MANAGER VICC Imtiaz Contracting is looking for an experienced Survey Manager to join our construction team in the UAE. 🔹 Position: Survey Manager 📍 Location: UAE 🏗 Industry: High-Rise Building Construction 💼 Experience: 10+ years in high-rise building surveying, including minimum 5 years of UAE experience. Key Responsibilities. *Conduct detailed site surveys for building layouts, foundations, columns, slabs, walls, and structural elements. *Set out building lines, levels, grids, and coordinates for excavation, foundations, and structural works. *Transfer survey coordinates accurately into AutoCAD and prepare layout drawings for site teams. *Verify site measurements, alignment, levels, and dimensions against approved design drawings. *Prepare and maintain as-built survey documentation, including measurements, deviations, and alignment reports. *Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, and construction teams to resolve survey-related issues. *Monitor subcontractor works for compliance with approved survey layouts and tolerances. *Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and accuracy of surveying instruments. *Prepare daily/weekly survey reports, progress updates, deviation reports, and corrective actions. *Maintain accurate survey logs, records, drawings, and documentation for project reference and audits. *Support the Chief Surveyor in planning and scheduling surveying activities. *Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, company procedures, and HSE requirements. *Guide and train junior surveyors and technicians in site surveying, instrument handling, and AutoCAD integration. *Coordinate with design teams to ensure accurate transfer of coordinates and constructability. *Identify and report alignment, level, and layout discrepancies for timely resolution. Qualification & Experience *Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field,10+ years of relevant experience in building/high-rise construction surveying. *Minimum 5 years of UAE experience preferred.Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for survey data plotting and coordinate transfer. *Extensive hands-on experience with Total Stations, GPS, Laser Levels, Theodolites, and other surveying equipment. *Strong knowledge of high-rise building construction, setting out, levels, grids, and structural works. 📩 Interested candidates are requested to share their updated CV at: jvarghese@vicc.co Please mention “Survey Manager – UAE” in the subject line.
