Specializing in development, design, information technology, and programming 🇦🇪 Senior Developer / Technical Lead Location: Dubai Locally available candidates preferred Contractual Role • 6–8 years of professional software development, including experience leading a development team. • Strong hands-on skills in Node.js, Python with FastAPI, and React. • MongoDB data modelling and performance tuning; Redis for caching and Pub/Sub. • Experience building on Azure services and APIs, shipping in containers, and running CI/CD on GitHub Actions. • Production experience with LLM features: model API integration, RAG and agent workflows. • A track record of designing systems and owning the architectural trade-offs. • Team management skills: running sprints, delegating, reviewing work, mentoring. • Clear communication with senior, non-technical stakeholders, including leading demos. What you'll do • Own the application architecture: service boundaries across the Node.js and FastAPI backends, the React frontend, data design in MongoDB, caching and messaging with Redis, and integration with Azure services. • Write and review code, and set the team's standards for quality, testing and security. • Run the daily sprint meeting: assign work, clear blockers, and hold the team to its commitments. • Manage the developer team day to day. • Represent engineering with senior stakeholders in demos, intro calls and discovery sessions, and explain trade-offs and timelines plainly. • Lead the design of the product's AI features: LLM integrations, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and agent workflows. • Answer for the performance, reliability, security and technical debt of the application.
