WE’RE HIRING: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ABC Cargo UAE | United Arab Emirates ABC Cargo UAE is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Manage general ledger accounting, month-end closing, and financial reporting. • Handle bank, branch, and intercompany reconciliations. • Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and collections reporting. • Prepare cash flow reports, budgets, and variance analysis. • Support UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance. • Coordinate audit requirements and maintain accurate financial documentation. • Maintain strong internal controls and accurate ERP accounting records. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS • M.Com or a higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. • Minimum 5 years of UAE accounting experience, including experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar senior-level role. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements. • Strong ERP and Microsoft Excel skills. • Excellent reconciliation, analytical, and reporting abilities. • High attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines. • Cargo, courier, logistics, or transportation experience will be an advantage. • CA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA qualification will be an added advantage.
