We’re Hiring: Procurement Engineer – Civil Location : Abu Dhabi We are looking for a Procurement Engineer – Civil with 3–5 years of construction procurement experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and commercial knowledge, with hands-on experience in sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and finalizing subcontractors for civil construction works. Key Responsibilities Identify, source, and evaluate suppliers for civil materials and subcontractors for civil construction packages based on their capabilities, experience, pricing, and project requirements. Review BOQs, drawings, and specifications to understand the scope of work and prepare tender enquiries and requests for quotation. Obtain subcontractor quotations and prepare detailed technical and commercial comparisons, identifying scope gaps, exclusions, deviations, and cost implications. Coordinate with project, engineering, and quantity surveying teams to clarify requirements and ensure quotations cover the complete scope of work. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, execution schedules, and other commercial conditions, and coordinate subcontractor selection and finalization in line with approved budgets and project timelines. Maintain procurement records, subcontractor databases, comparison statements, and award documentation. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. 3–5 years of experience in construction procurement, with a focus on subcontractor procurement. Proven experience in sourcing, tendering, technical and commercial evaluation, negotiation, and subcontractor finalization. Good knowledge of civil construction works, BOQs, drawings, and specifications. Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and coordination skills. Preferred Experience UAE construction experience is preferred. Experience in the construction of strategic infrastructure like defence sector, specialized industrial facilities, warehouses and shopping malls, will be an added advantage.
