WE ARE HIRING – PROCUREMENT & CONTRACT MANAGER Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Contract Manager with a strong background in civil engineering and construction contracting to join our team. Qualifications & Experience * Degree or recognized qualification in Civil Engineering. * Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in procurement and contract management with established construction/contracting companies. * Extensive experience in civil construction projects, subcontracting, commercial negotiations, and contract administration. * Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, contractual procedures, and procurement processes. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project schedules, budgets, and company objectives. * Manage the complete procurement cycle, including RFQs, tendering, bid evaluations, negotiations, purchase orders, and contract awards. * Prepare, review, negotiate, and administer main contracts, subcontract agreements, and supplier contracts. * Evaluate subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors based on technical compliance, commercial competitiveness, quality, and delivery performance. * Ensure competitive pricing, cost optimization, and compliance with approved project budgets. * Review contract terms and conditions, identify contractual risks, and recommend mitigation measures. * Monitor contract variations, claims, extensions of time, and contractual obligations. * Coordinate with project management, engineering, QS, finance, and legal teams to ensure smooth project execution. * Monitor procurement schedules, material deliveries, and subcontractor performance to avoid project delays. * Maintain proper procurement documentation, contract records, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
