We are looking for a Cost Control Engineer to join our team immediately on a full-time basis. Responsibilities: - Establish and maintain project cost control systems and procedures - Monitor actual project expenditure against approved budgets - Track committed, incurred, and forecast costs - Ensure project costs are properly allocated - Monitor financial performance throughout the project lifecycle - Assist in preparing project budgets and cost breakdown structures - Review approved budgets against contract requirements, BOQ, and project scope - Prepare monthly cost forecasts and estimate-at-completion reports - Monitor budget revisions and obtain required approvals - Provide management with warnings regarding budget overruns - Prepare weekly and monthly project cost reports - Prepare cost variance analysis and explain significant deviations - Monitor project profitability and forecast final project costs - Prepare cash-flow forecasts with the project and finance teams - Monitor purchase orders, material commitments, and subcontractor costs - Compare procurement costs with approved budgets and estimates - Coordinate with Procurement and Stores to monitor material consumption and costs - Identify cost savings opportunities without compromising quality or project requirements - Monitor and record project variations - Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers on variation costs - Track approved, pending, and rejected variations - Ensure approved variations are incorporated into the project cost forecast - Monitor the financial impact of scope changes - Monitor subcontractor commitments, payments, and costs - Review subcontractor valuation and cost information with the QS team - Track subcontractor performance against approved budgets - Identify potential cost exposure from subcontractor claims or delays - Compare planned costs with actual project performance - Monitor productivity, labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor costs - Analyze cost trends and identify areas requiring corrective action - Coordinate with Planning, Procurement, QS, Finance, and Project teams to maintain accurate cost information - Maintain accurate project cost records and supporting documentation - Maintain cost codes, budget revisions, commitments, and forecasts - Ensure all cost reports are properly supported and traceable - Maintain records of variations, purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and project commitments - Support internal and external audits when required Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, QS, Construction Management, or similar - Professional certification in Cost Control, QS, or Project Management is a plus - Strong knowledge of construction and project cost control principles - Minimum 2 years’ experience - A team player with proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Please share your CV with recruitment@phoenician-uae.com

المتطلبات
