Company: RIBCRAFT Boat Building LLCLocation: Abu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesEmployment Type: Full-timeJoining Requirement: ImmediateAbout RIBCRAFTRIBCRAFT is a globally established brand in the design and manufacture of professional and military-grade Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIBs), built on over 30 years of British naval design heritage, with a strong international presence across the defence, coast guard, law enforcement, search and rescue, and commercial maritime sectors.About the RoleRIBCRAFT Boat Building LLC, Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Buyer to manage the procurement of materials, equipment and services for RHIB and composite boat manufacturing projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency and compliance with technical and marine specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesManage procurement of all materials, equipment and services required for boatbuilding projects, ensuring timely delivery, competitive pricing and compliance with technical specifications.Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), evaluate supplier quotations, conduct commercial negotiations and issue Purchase Orders (POs).Identify, evaluate and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers of marine materials, equipment and components.Coordinate with Production, Planning and Project teams to ensure material availability in line with weekly production schedules and project requirements.Monitor purchase orders, supplier performance and delivery schedules to prevent production delays.Coordinate international shipping, freight forwarding, customs clearance and import documentation for materials and equipment.Manage export logistics and documentation for completed vessels.Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiations, sourcing strategies and procurement optimisation.Qualifications & Experience5–6 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within boatbuilding, shipyards or marine manufacturing in the GCC, particularly the UAE.Strong knowledge of marine materials, equipment, components and supplier networks in the UAE and international markets.Proven experience in RFQ management, supplier evaluation, price negotiation, purchase order processing and delivery follow-up.Practical knowledge of international shipping, import/export procedures and customs clearance requirements.Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary production, planning and project teams in a deadline-driven manufacturing environment.Preferred CandidatesCurrently based in the UAE, preferably in Abu Dhabi.Established network of marine industry suppliers in the UAE and GCC.How to ApplyQualified candidates are invited to submit their CV to sandeep@ribcraft.co.uk and operations@ribcraftme.com, quoting Buyer – Abu Dhabi.Learn more about RIBCRAFT: www.ribcraft.com
