Company Description SalexHub builds Salex, an embedded agent that operates within the same tools and permissions as customer teams, enabling safe and controlled automation. Every automation is governed by clear step and credit budgets, with sensitive actions requiring explicit approval through dedicated approval cards. This approach gives organizations fine-grained control over autonomy, treating it as a configurable setting rather than a risk. SalexHub focuses on practical, trustworthy automation that supports human decision-makers while scaling operational efficiency.Role Description The Software Engineering Manager (SaaS), Dubai is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role leads a team of software engineers to design, build, and maintain SaaS products that power Salex’s agent capabilities. The manager oversees end-to-end software development, including architecture decisions, code reviews, sprint planning, and coordination with product and operations teams. Responsibilities include managing delivery timelines, ensuring quality and reliability of distributed systems, and fostering best practices in engineering, security, and observability. The role also involves mentoring team members, hiring and onboarding new engineers, and continuously improving processes to support scalable, compliant, and high-performing software solutions.Qualifications Strong software development skills, including experience building and maintaining SaaS applications.Proficiency in software design and architecture, with a focus on scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.Demonstrated team leadership experience, including mentoring, performance management, and hiring.Solid project management capabilities, including planning, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination.Hands-on experience with distributed systems, microservices, or cloud-native architectures.Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring/observability tools.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse, fast-paced environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is an advantage.Experience in SaaS, automation platforms, or AI-driven products is highly beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Dubai and align with global teams across different time zones.
