If you are drawn to hospitality with soul and substance, the Colbert Collection is your kind of place.We are currently looking for a HostessWelcome guests to the venueProvide accurate wait times and monitor waiting listsResponsible for fielding telephone calls and organising reservations, floor plans and table allocationsConsider the satisfaction of all guests by ensuring prompt, courteous and efficient service at all timesAssist the department to drive guest satisfaction by providing consistent guest experiences.Report positive and constructive guest feedback to the managerUnderstand the importance of the guest arrival experience – and strive for consistencyAssist with consistency of the restaurant presentation, labelling and signageEscort guest to assigned dining or bar areasMaintain a clean reception areaCater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)Assist wait staff as neededFamiliarity with health and safety regulationsPromptly handle guest queries, complaints and all issues in a professional manner and ensure that all details are communicated to the Supervisor or Outlet ManagerExperiencePrevious experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property requiredPre-opening experience is an advantage RequirementProven work experience as a HostessActive listening and effective communication skillsFlexibility to work in shiftsHigh school diploma: food safety training is a plusTeam spiritStrong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environmentShould you believe that you are the right candidate for the role, please apply online ONLY by submitting your full updated CV, featuring a recent photographNot the right fit?
