Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy development and planning Lead the annual and multi-year strategic planning process, including market analysis, scenario planning, and goal setting. Translate corporate vision into clear strategic priorities, initiatives, and measurable targets. Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, regulatory shifts, and macroeconomic developments, and advise leadership on implications. Identify new growth opportunities, including new markets, sectors, partnerships, and business models.Investment strategy and analysis Shape the investment thesis and strategic asset allocation framework in collaboration with the investment teams. Oversee the evaluation of new investment opportunities, including financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and risk assessment. Prepare investment memoranda and recommendations for the Investment Committee and Board. Support M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships from screening through execution and integration.Portfolio performance and governance Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to track portfolio and strategic initiative performance. Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and recommend rebalancing, divestment, or follow-on investment decisions. Ensure investment processes comply with governance policies, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.Leadership and stakeholder management Lead, mentor, and develop a team of strategy and investment professionals. Partner with Finance, Risk, Legal, Operations, and business unit leaders to drive cross-functional alignment. Present strategic recommendations and performance updates to the executive team, Board, and external stakeholders. Manage relationships with external advisors, consultants, co-investors, and industry partners.
