Job Title: Solution ArchitectCompany: Star Services LLCDepartment: TSSLocation: Abu Dhabi, UAEWorkplace Type: On-siteEmployment Type: Full-timeSeniority Level: Mid-Senior level / Director (depending on internal grading)Job Function: Information TechnologyIndustries: IT Services and IT Consulting, Technology, Software DevelopmentJob DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective technology solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, infrastructure, cybersecurity, DevOps, and integration teams to translate business requirements into comprehensive technical architecture and implementation strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate business requirements into end-to-end technical solution architectures.Prepare High-Level Designs (HLD), Solution Design Documents (SDD), integration designs, and technical specifications.Design application, API, database, cloud, infrastructure, security, and integration architectures.Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, performance, availability, and compliance requirements.Define integration approaches using REST APIs, middleware, ESB, message queues, and API gateways.Support cloud, hybrid, and on-premises architecture implementations.Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development and infrastructure teams.Review existing systems and recommend modernization and optimization strategies.Evaluate technology platforms, vendors, tools, and architectural solutions.Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, ISO requirements, UAE regulations, and security policies.Participate in architecture governance, technical reviews, and project planning.Maintain architecture documentation, technical risks, dependencies, and design decisions.Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 10 years of overall IT experience.At least 3 years of experience in Solution Architecture or Technical Architecture roles.Strong understanding of enterprise applications, software design, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity.Experience in preparing HLDs, SDDs, architecture diagrams, and technical proposals.Knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, API management, and enterprise integrations.Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud environments.Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and system availability.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and technical leadership skills.Preferred Technical SkillsMicrosoft .NETAngular, React, or other modern frontend frameworksSQL Server, Oracle, and NoSQL databasesMicrosoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless technologiesKafka, RabbitMQ, ESB, middleware, and API gatewaysOAuth2, OpenID Connect, SSO, IAM, MFA, and encryptionSharePoint, Power Platform, ServiceNow, CRM, and ERP platformsELK, Dynatrace, and Application InsightsAI, Data Analytics, and Automation platformsPreferred CertificationsTOGAFMicrosoft Azure Solutions ArchitectAWS Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud architecture certificationsKey CompetenciesEnterprise architecture and strategic thinkingSolution design and technical problem-solvingSecurity-first architecture approachTechnical documentation and presentationStakeholder and vendor managementLeadership and decision-making
