Job DescriptionJob Summary. Machine Operator responsible for the manufacturing of Power Section (Stator & Rotor) by following procedures and SOPResponsibilitiesRESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:Manufacturing Stators and Rotors for usage in oilfield directional drillingFollow procedures related to stator and rotor manufacturing processReview of the necessary manufacturing procedures frequency to be fluent and aware of the critical parameters related to the processVerify quality control checks at each manufacturing process, prior to planning or transferring the job to the next process of manufacturingSupport and participate in the Organizations Continual Improvement program and any problem-solving initiativesFollow the operating procedures (SOP) and perform the task based on the Job Hazard analysis performedOperation of overhead cranes in the movement of parts or productsReport any abnormalities or variations observed in the manufacturing process to the concerned partiesEnsure the tools, gauges and equipment’s used in manufacturing are maintained properlyDocument and maintain checklist, paper routers, or any ERP system that are in placeAssist and support in the repair work of any machine or areas in the facilityHandling of products, tubes & core at elevated temperatures by following the necessary safety proceduresFollow the house keeping as per the 5S requirementsSuggest or raise observation on any improvements, risk, safety concerns and good practicesEnsure to comply with all NOV HSE procedures and policies and maintain relevant HSE logsObserve HSE regulations, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnelBehavioral Skills/Competencies & Experience RequiredPerform daily operator checklist of machinesCapture/measure necessary process parameters and record the readingsEnsure controlled use of elastomer & chemicals issued to shop floorCheck the stator or rotor prior to starting any process and report if in doubtEnsure the stator/rotor is processed to the next step only after complete review of task performedEnsure machines are running as per the requirementOperate Boiler, Generator, Air compressors, Forklift (License/Certification required) when needs/advisedAssist maintenance technicians when critical machine breakdowns are been attendedProvide training to any new hire / operators that are under the certification programOther duties, as assigned by the supervisorQualificationsQualifications: (Education/No. of Years of Experience)High School Diploma or equivalent with knowledge in basic mathSkills, Training, Special Knowledge, And/or Language SkillsKnowledge of the proper use of measuring tools/gauge and toolsUnderstand routers, drawings and proceduresAble to communicate in English (both writing and orally)Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, basic electrical systems and with mechanical aptitude. Experience in safe use of power tools used in Manufacturing IndustriesQuality AssuranceAbility to understand basic engineering drawingsAbility to present and explain basic technical information to diverse audienceAbility to document, store and retrieve information as per basic QMS
