Job OverviewWe are looking for hardworking and reliable Stewards to support kitchen and food & beverage operations by maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across all back-of-house areas. The role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting service teams.Key ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, and cutleryOperate dishwashing and pot-wash machines efficientlyMaintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, stores, and BOH areasFollow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards at all timesHandle cleaning chemicals safely as per training and instructionsAssist chefs and service teams during operations when requiredEnsure proper waste segregation and disposalReport damaged equipment or maintenance issues to supervisorsSupport inventory control of cleaning suppliesComply with company policies, safety standards, and SOPsRequirements & QualificationsPrevious experience as a Steward in a hotel or restaurant is preferredBasic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and sanitation standardsPhysically fit and able to stand for long hoursAbility to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidaysTeam player with a positive attitudeBasic English communication skillsWillingness to learn and follow instructionsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits (as per company policy)Stable and supportive work environmentTraining and development opportunitiesCareer growth within Salayel Hospitality
