The platform is committed to ethical practices and empowering workers with knowledge to navigate international opportunities confidently.Role Description The Mechanical Engineer role at is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical components and systems, with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and safety. Daily tasks include developing machine designs, creating and reviewing CAD models and technical drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project planning and execution. The role also involves conducting research and development activities, selecting appropriate materials and manufacturing processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. The Mechanical Engineer will participate in troubleshooting, performance testing, and continuous improvement initiatives for mechanical systems and equipment.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge and practical experience in mechanical systems and components.Candidates should possess skills in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for creating, modeling, and reviewing mechanical parts and assemblies.Candidates should possess abilities in Project Management to plan, coordinate, and monitor engineering activities and timelines.Candidates should possess experience in Research and Development (R&D) for improving existing designs, exploring new technologies, and validating concepts.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.Proficiency with engineering and CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools).Understanding of relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Previous experience in GCC or similar industrial environments is an advantage.Email : info@gulfplacement.com
