🗂 **We’re Hiring: Investment Analyst**🕒 **Employment Type:** Full-Time💼 **Level:** Executive / Finance & InvestmentWe are seeking a **highly analytical, financially astute, and detail-oriented Investment Analyst** to evaluate investment opportunities, conduct financial research, and provide data-driven insights that support strategic investment decisions.This role is responsible for analyzing financial markets, assessing investment risks and returns, evaluating companies and business opportunities, and developing financial models to support investment recommendations. The successful candidate will work closely with management, finance professionals, and investment decision-makers to identify attractive opportunities, optimize portfolio performance, and support sustainable long-term value creation.### 🎯 Key Responsibilities* Conduct financial and investment research to identify potential investment opportunities across relevant markets and asset classes.* Analyze companies, industries, economic indicators, market trends, and competitive landscapes to assess investment potential.* Develop and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, forecasts, and investment scenarios.* Evaluate investment opportunities using appropriate methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions where applicable.* Assess financial statements, business performance, cash flows, profitability, and growth prospects.* Conduct due diligence on potential investments, including financial, commercial, operational, and market assessments.* Analyze investment risks, expected returns, capital requirements, and potential downside scenarios.* Prepare investment memoranda, research reports, presentations, and recommendations for management or investment committees.* Monitor existing investments and track financial performance against investment objectives and expectations.* Support portfolio analysis, asset allocation, and investment performance monitoring where applicable.* Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario modeling to evaluate the impact of changing market conditions and business assumptions.* Evaluate business plans, acquisition opportunities, strategic investments, and potential mergers and acquisitions.* Research macroeconomic developments, interest rates, inflation, industry dynamics, and other factors affecting investment decisions.* Collaborate with Finance, Strategy, Legal, and other relevant teams to assess investment proposals and strategic initiatives.* Maintain accurate investment databases, financial models, research records, and analytical documentation.* Identify emerging investment trends, market inefficiencies, and opportunities for long-term value creation.* Support investment negotiations by providing financial analysis, valuation insights, and commercial assessments.* Monitor relevant regulatory developments and ensure investment analysis follows applicable internal policies and procedures.* Present investment findings and recommendations clearly to senior management and other stakeholders.* Continuously improve investment research methods, analytical frameworks, and financial modeling practices.### ✅ Requirements* Proven experience as an Investment Analyst, Financial Analyst, Equity Research Analyst, Corporate Finance Analyst, or in a similar analytical role.* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Investment Management, or a related discipline is preferred.* Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, investment principles, and valuation methodologies.* Demonstrated ability to build financial models, perform valuation analyses, and interpret complex financial information.* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, financial modeling, and data analysis.* Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.* Ability to assess investment opportunities, evaluate financial risks, and develop well-supported recommendations.* Knowledge of financial markets, investment instruments, macroeconomic trends, and industry analysis.* Excellent research, report-writing, presentation, and communication skills.* Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and professional judgment.* Ability to manage multiple research assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.* Familiarity with financial data platforms, market research tools, and business intelligence software will be an advantage.* Experience with mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, equity research, or portfolio management will be advantageous, depending on the role.* Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, CPA, or other relevant investment and finance credentials will be an added advantage.* An MBA, Master’s degree in Finance, or a related postgraduate qualification
