We are looking for an experienced Oracle Infrastructure Engineer with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle engineered systems. The role requires strong expertise in Oracle Exadata, ODA, ZDLRA, PCA, SPARC/x86 servers, ZFS Storage, Solaris, and Oracle Linux, with responsibility for deployment, administration, patching, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Key ResponsibilitiesDeploy, administer, patch, and troubleshoot Oracle engineered systems including Exadata, Oracle Database Appliance (ODA), Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA), and Private Cloud Appliance (PCA)Manage and maintain Oracle SPARC and x86 server platforms, including hardware lifecycle management, firmware updates, and capacity planningAdminister Oracle ZFS Storage solutions, covering configuration, replication, performance optimization, and fault resolutionOperate and support Oracle Solaris and Oracle Linux environments at an advanced administrative levelConduct proactive health checks, risk assessments, and infrastructure reviews for client environmentsRespond to and resolve escalated technical issues in a timely and methodical manner, ensuring minimal impact to client operationsProduce clear and accurate technical documentation, including runbooks, incident reports, and configuration recordsLiaise directly with clients, providing professional guidance and maintaining strong working relationshipsRequired Qualifications4-6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle infrastructure and engineered systems administrationDeep understanding of Oracle Exadata including:Core architecture and components (compute nodes, storage cells, InfiniBand network)Key features such as Smart Scan, Hybrid Columnar Compression, Storage Indexes, and Flash Cache Basic understanding of Exadata patching and maintenance lifecycleDemonstrated expertise on Oracle Exadata including:Exadata System Installations, deployments and configurationsPatching and upgrade activitiesRoutine Maintenance and health checksPractical working knowledge of ODA, ZDLRA, and PCA platformsGood understanding of:Oracle Database fundamentals (RAC/ASM concepts)ASM disk group managementOracle Database Backup & Recovery Tools (RMAN/ Data Pump)Solid experience administering Oracle SPARC and x86 serversExperience with Oracle ZFS Storage architecture and managementStrong command of Oracle Solaris and Oracle Linux operating systemsWorking knowledge of Oracle KVM virtualizationAbility to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersA methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem resolutionPreferred QualificationsExperience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)Basic knowledge of Oracle Cloud servicesPractical knowledge of ExaCCKnowledge of networking fundamentals including VLANs, routing protocols, and network security principlesProficiency in scripting languages such as Shell or PythonOracle certifications (OCA, OCP, or platform-specific credentials)Oracle Exadata certification
