Role DescriptionAn Architect is responsible for developing architectural designs, technical drawings, and practical project solutions while coordinating with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, and authorities.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop architectural concepts, layouts, plans, elevations, and details.Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.Translate client requirements into practical and functional design solutions.Coordinate architectural designs with structural, civil, and MEP disciplines.Conduct site visits, inspections, and design assessments.Review shop drawings, materials, and technical submissions.Ensure designs comply with building codes, regulations, and project requirements.Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities.Identify and resolve design conflicts and technical issues.Monitor construction activities against approved designs and drawings.Respond to RFIs, variations, site issues, and technical requirements.Support authority submissions, permits, and project approvals.Prepare design presentations, reports, and project documentation.Support value engineering and cost-effective design solutions.Ensure design quality, accuracy, functionality, and compliance.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.Relevant experience in architectural design, construction, or consultancy.Strong knowledge of architectural principles, materials, detailing, and construction methods.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design software.Experience preparing technical and construction drawings.Good understanding of building codes, regulations, and authority requirements.Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.Strong creative, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and design accuracy.Good communication, presentation, and coordination skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant documentation tools.UAE/GCC architectural experience is advantageous.Professional, organized, reliable, and proactive approach.
