About the RoleWe are seeking a commercially driven Director of Energy Storage Overseas BD / Renewable Projects Lead to lead international business development, strategic partnerships, and renewable energy project growth across key overseas markets.Key ResponsibilitiesLead overseas business development and market expansion for energy storage and renewable energy solutions.Identify, develop, and secure new opportunities across utility-scale, C&I, and renewable energy projects.Build and manage relationships with developers, utilities, EPCs, investors, distributors, and strategic partners.Lead project origination, commercial negotiations, partnership development, and contract execution.Develop market entry strategies and go-to-market plans across priority international markets.Drive the full business development cycle from opportunity identification and feasibility assessment to project development and closing.Work closely with Engineering, Project Development, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure successful project execution.Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in energy storage and renewable energy.Build and lead high-performing international BD and project development teams.RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy, Renewable Energy, or a related field.Proven experience in energy storage, renewable energy, power, infrastructure, or related industries.Strong track record in international business development, project origination, or commercial development.Solid understanding of BESS, solar, wind, hybrid renewable projects, and energy transition markets.Strong commercial judgment, negotiation, project management, and stakeholder management skills.Experience working with utilities, IPPs, developers, EPCs, investors, or strategic partners is highly valued.International market experience and an established network across renewable energy or energy storage markets are a plus.Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, build partnerships, and scale new markets.
