surface properties and dispersion behaviour affect cosmetic powder processing and final product quality.𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞Palomba General Trading LLC is looking for a Cosmetic Powder & Pigment Processing Engineer to support technically demanding cosmetic and personal-care process-equipment projects across the UAE and GCC markets.The role will focus on dry powders, pigments, mineral ingredients, functional powders and powder-containing formulations used in colour cosmetics, skincare, personal care and specialty cosmetic applications.The successful candidate will work with cosmetic manufacturers, application specialists and international equipment manufacturers to evaluate raw-material properties, define processing requirements and support the technical selection of suitable milling, blending, dosing and powder-handling solutions.The position requires strong technical understanding of powder behaviour, particle-size control, dispersion and industrial processing.𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬• Analyse customer requirements involving cosmetic powders and pigments.• Evaluate raw-material properties including particle size, bulk density, moisture, flowability and cohesiveness.• Support technical selection of milling and deagglomeration equipment.• Evaluate particle-size reduction requirements.• Review target particle-size distribution and powder uniformity.• Support pigment dispersion and powder-preparation applications.• Analyse blending requirements for powders with different densities and particle sizes.• Support selection of suitable dry-blending equipment.• Evaluate segregation risks during mixing, transfer and storage.• Review dosing requirements for pigments, actives and minor ingredients.• Support gravimetric and volumetric feeding concepts.• Evaluate powder-transfer and containment requirements.• Support projects involving fine and difficult-flowing powders.• Analyse dust-generation risks and powder losses.• Evaluate powder wetting and incorporation into liquid cosmetic systems where relevant.• Support technical discussions involving deagglomeration and dispersion.• Review requirements for milling, sieving and screening.• Support colour uniformity and batch consistency requirements.• Coordinate technical trials with customers and equipment manufacturers.• Review trial results including particle size, engineer or scientist with practical understanding of cosmetic powders, pigments and industrial powder-processing technologies.The ideal candidate should understand how particle size, particle shape, density, flowability and surface characteristics affect blending, dosing, transfer and dispersion performance.Candidates should be able to analyse powder-processing problems, interpret technical data and discuss suitable process solutions with both cosmetic manufacturers and equipment-engineering teams.Candidates whose professional experience is predominantly general sales, administration or non-technical business development are unlikely to be suitable for this position.𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Materials Science, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.Minimum 3 years of relevant industrial or application-engineering experience preferred.Practical experience with powders, pigments, dry blending, milling or particle-size processing is strongly preferred.Experience in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, chemical or specialty-material manufacturing is particularly relevant.Understanding of particle-size analysis and powder properties.Ability to interpret technical process data and equipment specifications.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent
