Our mission is to increase the freedom of money and financial access for people around the world.ResponsibilitiesServe as Binance's global product legal lead, providing regulatory and legal guidance across the full product lifecycle — from ideation through launch to ongoing operationsAdvise product teams on regulatory implications of new features, product enhancements, and market expansions across jurisdictionsLead the assessment and mitigation of regulatory risks across Binance's product suite, including spot and derivatives trading, payments, digital assets, and emerging verticalsPartner directly with product managers, engineers, compliance, risk, and BD to embed legal and regulatory considerations into product development processesBuild and maintain scalable product compliance frameworks and controls that support growth across diverse regulatory environmentsAct as a key decision-maker in product governance forums, balancing regulatory compliance with business objectives and user needsLead engagement with regulators and external counsel on product-related matters across multiple jurisdictionsStay ahead of global regulatory developments and translate them into actionable guidance for product and business teamsConduct cross-functional workshops and training to elevate regulatory awareness across the organizationRequirementsQualified to practice law in a leading jurisdiction with significant international regulatory legal experience. 10+ years of experience in regulatory legal roles, preferably in-house at a technology, financial services, or cryptocurrency companyDeep knowledge of global financial product regulation, including spot and derivatives trading, payment systems, and digital assetsProven track record of working embedded with product and engineering teams to shape product decisionsExperience managing complex regulatory compliance matters and engaging with regulators across multiple jurisdictionsExperience leading and scaling legal teams across regionsStrong stakeholder management skills — ability to build trusted relationships with regulators, business leaders, product teams, and external counselExcellent communication and negotiation skillsStrong business acumen with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approachDeep understanding of the cryptocurrency industry and its evolving global regulatory landscapeAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment managing multiple prioritiesWhy BinanceShape the future of finance Collaborate with world-class talent in a user-centric global organization with a flat structureTackle challenging projects in a fast-paced and innovative enviornment with autonomyThrive in a results-driven workplace with opportunities for career growth and continuous learningCompetitive salary and company benefitsRemote-first, work-from-home arrangement (may vary depending on the nature of the role and team)Binance is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
