Location: Abu Dhabi Corniche, Abu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesWorkplace: On-siteEmployment Type: Full-timeCompensation: Competitive salary, based on experienceAbout the RoleA premium fine-dining restaurant on the Abu Dhabi Corniche, specializing in Turkish cuisine and premium meat dishes, is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Restaurant Cashier.The successful candidate will manage guest payments, daily cash reconciliation, table reservations, delivery-platform orders, and sales reporting. This position requires strong numerical accuracy, practical accounting knowledge, and hands-on experience with restaurant POS systems and online food delivery platforms.Candidates with experience in fine-dining restaurants or four- and five-star hotel outlets are particularly encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess guest payments accurately through POS systems, including cash, cards, digital wallets, split bills, and authorized discounts.Issue accurate, VAT-compliant invoices in accordance with UAE requirements.Open and close shifts, manage cash floats, prepare end-of-day reports, and reconcile cash and card transactions.Manage reservations, booking changes, cancellations, waitlists, and guest requests through the reservation system.Receive and manage online orders through Talabat, Deliveroo, Noon Food, Careem, and other applicable delivery platforms.Update menu availability and reconcile delivery-platform statements and payouts.Prepare daily sales reports by payment method and sales channel for management and the accounts team.Issue invoices to corporate clients and coordinate outstanding balances with the B2B sales team.Manage petty cash and maintain organized receipts and supporting financial documents.Follow internal controls for refunds, voids, and discounts, reporting discrepancies promptly.Provide courteous guest service and maintain the confidentiality of financial and business information.RequirementsAt least two years of experience as a cashier in a fine-dining restaurant or a four- or five-star hotel outlet.Practical experience with restaurant POS systems such as Foodics, Oracle MICROS/Simphony, Lightspeed, or equivalent systems.Experience with restaurant reservation platforms such as SevenRooms, Eat App, or OpenTable.Familiarity with delivery platforms such as Talabat, Deliveroo, Noon Food, and Careem, including order management and reconciliation.Good accounting knowledge, including cash handling, daily reconciliation, UAE VAT invoicing, and petty cash management.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accurate preparation of sales reports.A diploma or degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.Good command of English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.Strong attention to detail, integrity, organization, and the ability to work under pressure.Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.A professional and supportive working environment.The opportunity to work within a premium fine-dining restaurant in Abu Dhabi.How to ApplyCandidates whose experience matches the requirements are invited to submit their applications through LinkedIn.Please ensure that your CV includes relevant restaurant cashier experience, POS systems used, accounting responsibilities, and experience with delivery platforms.
