About DhabaDhaba began by the warmth of Chef Enayatullah Safi's grandmother's tandoor in Afghanistan. We are looking for hardworking, reliable Kitchen Stewards to join our pre-opening team and keep the heart of Dhaba clean, safe and ready for every service.The RoleReporting to the Sous Chef and Head Chef, you will make sure our kitchen, equipment and dishware are spotless and ready, so our chefs can focus on creating great food.Key responsibilities:Wash, sanitise and store all dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots and pansOperate and maintain the dishwashing machine safely and efficientlyClean kitchen floors, walls, work surfaces, equipment and storage areasKeep chefs supplied with clean utensils and equipment throughout serviceRemove waste and recycling, following correct disposal proceduresHelp receive, check and store deliveries when neededUse cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructionsFollow HACCP, hygiene and safety standards at all timesReport any equipment issues or breakages to the Sous ChefWhat You BringAt least 1 year of experience as a Kitchen Steward or Dishwasher in a restaurant or hotelBasic knowledge of hygiene, sanitation and chemical safetyBasic spoken EnglishA strong work ethic, reliability and attention to cleanlinessA team player who stays organised in a fast-paced kitchenAbility to stand for long periods and lift heavy itemsFlexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidaysWhat We OfferCompetitive salary plus service chargeTraining and developmentOpportunities to grow with the Dhaba brandA dynamic, multicultural teamHow to ApplyApply directly through LinkedIn Easy Apply.
