JOB TITLEDigital Arts Community Manager — Artists, Audience & Cultural Engagement1 PositionABOUT THE JOBDe Art is looking for a Digital Arts Community Manager to build and strengthen relationships between the platform, visual artists, creative professionals, art audiences, and the wider digital art community.This role focuses on communication, community development, artist engagement, audience interaction, and creating meaningful conversations around visual art and contemporary creative practices.The ideal candidate combines a genuine interest in visual arts with strong communication skills, digital awareness, and the ability to build long-term relationships with artists and audiences.RESPONSIBILITIES• Develop and maintain relationships with emerging and established visual artists, photographers, designers, and creative practitioners.• Identify relevant artists, creative communities, cultural organizations, and digital art networks for potential collaboration.• Communicate with artists and creative professionals regarding content, features, interviews, collaborations, and platform opportunities.• Monitor and engage with De Art's audience across digital platforms, responding to comments, messages, questions, and relevant discussions.• Help develop initiatives that encourage audience participation and create an active digital arts community around De Art.• Coordinate artist-focused campaigns, community features, interviews, open calls, and collaborative projects.• Track audience interests, community feedback, and emerging conversations within the visual arts ecosystem.• Support the editorial and content teams by identifying interesting artists, stories, communities, and cultural conversations.• Maintain organized records of artist contacts, collaborations, communications, and potential partnerships.• Contribute ideas for improving audience engagement and strengthening De Art's presence within the contemporary visual arts community.QUALIFICATIONS• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Art, Art History, Visual Arts, Cultural Studies, Communications, Media, Marketing, or a related field.• Strong interest in contemporary art, visual culture, digital art, photography, design, or related creative fields.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to communicate professionally and naturally with artists and creative professionals.• Familiarity with Instagram and other digital platforms used by artists and cultural communities.• Strong research, organization, and interpersonal skills.• Ability to identify relevant artists, creative projects, cultural trends, and community opportunities.• Good English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.• Previous experience in community management, artist relations, cultural organizations, media, galleries, creative projects, or digital platforms is an advantage.• A proactive, curious, and culturally aware approach to discovering new voices and building meaningful relationships.WHAT WE OFFER• The opportunity to work with an independent digital visual arts media platform.• Direct involvement with artists, creative professionals, and visual arts communities.• A role combining art, digital media, communication, and community development.• Opportunity to contribute ideas and develop new community initiatives.• A creative and collaborative working environment.• Exposure to diverse artistic practices, emerging artists, and contemporary visual culture.HOW TO APPLYPlease send the following materials to:[بيانات التواصل متاحة عبر زر التقديم]: Digital Arts Community Manager — De Art• CV — maximum 2 pages• Cover letter — maximum 1 page• Portfolio or links to 3 relevant projects, campaigns, communities, or professional activities• Two professional references, including name, role, and contact informationShortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview and may be asked to complete a role-specific practical assignment or presentation.De Art welcomes applications from people with diverse backgrounds and from cross-disciplinary practitioners who bring different perspectives to the visual arts and digital culture.
