Designer Hessa Falasi focuses on creating unique pieces that combine understated luxury, comfort, and confidence for clients. The brand is well established in the regional fashion industry and continues to grow as a sought-after label for discerning customers.Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank and cash accounts. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, tracking accounts receivable and payable, monitoring expenses, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities. The role will support budgeting and forecasting, generate financial reports for management, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The Accountant will coordinate with external auditors, maintain accurate documentation for all financial activities, and help optimize financial processes to support retail and couture operations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, working closely with the leadership and retail teams.QualificationsStrong foundation in financial accounting, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as solid skills in Excel and other MS Office applications.Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management to support strategic decision-making in a retail/fashion environment.Familiarity with local accounting regulations, tax requirements, and compliance standards in the United Arab Emirates.Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to analyze financial data and identify variances or trends.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldPrior experience in retail, fashion, or luxury brands is preferred, with an understanding of inventory and cost-of-goods accounting.High level of integrity, accountability, and commitment to maintaining confidential financial information.Immediate joiner and must be available within UAE
