About Company:Delight International Facilities Management (DIFM) is part of Delight Investment Group (DIG), a diversified group with operations spanning Facilities Management, Logistics and Supply Chain, Oil and Gas Products and Services, and IT and Outsourcing across the GCC. DIFM delivers integrated hard and soft facilities management services to government, semi-government, and private sector clients across the UAE, with operations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. About Role: The FM Estimation Engineer leads the technical front office function of the Registration and Tendering Department, preparing technical documentation for FM tenders and contract submissions, conducting site surveys, reviewing scope of works, and ensuring all technical submissions meet DIFM standards and client requirements. The role works closely with the commercial team on pricing and is supported by back office technical staff.Key Responsibilities: • Prepare technical sections of tender submissions, including method statements, scope of works, technical proposals, and engineering specifications • Review tender documents, RFPs, and client briefs to identify technical requirements and deliverables • Conduct on-site surveys for prospective contracts to assess scope, asset condition, manpower requirements, and service specifications • Prepare detailed survey reports translating field findings into technical inputs for cost estimation and proposal development • Liaise with clients and consultants during pre-tender site visits and clarification meetings • Review tender documents before submission to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with client specifications • Coordinate with the commercial team to ensure technical scope is accurately reflected in pricing • Identify risks, ambiguities, and scope gaps in tender requirements and escalate as required • Maintain a library of standard technical templates, method statements, and scope documents for reuse across tenders• Guide back office technical support staff and coordinate with operations and contracts teams on service delivery input. Qualification and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering • Minimum 4 years of experience in FM estimation, quantity surveying, or technical proposal preparation • GCC experience reqiuired, with familiarity with the UAE FM market, client types, and authority requirements • Experience preparing technical documents for government and semi-government FM tenders is preferred Skills:• FM scope of works preparation and technical proposal writing • Site survey and asset assessment methodology • Working knowledge of MEP and soft FM service specifications • Familiarity with tender portals and document management systems • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
