We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Rust Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and development of secure, scalable, and high-performance software platforms.This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will define engineering standards, architect mission-critical systems, mentor engineers, and drive Rust adoption across large-scale distributed platforms.Requirements10+ years of software engineering experience4+ years building production systems in RustProven experience as a Staff, Principal, or Lead EngineerExpertise in distributed systems, backend engineering, and systems programmingDeep understanding of concurrency, asynchronous programming, networking, and performance optimizationStrong experience with software architecture, CI/CD, observability, security, and cloud-native platformsTrack record of delivering business-critical services at scaleKey ResponsibilitiesArchitect and develop production-grade Rust services and librariesLead technical decisions across multiple engineering teamsDrive engineering excellence through code reviews, standards, and best practicesImprove system performance, reliability, scalability, and securityMentor engineers and elevate overall Rust capability across the organizationPartner with Product, Architecture, Security, SRE, and Delivery teams to deliver scalable solutionsPrincipal Rust Engineer in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
