About the business areaTreasury & Investments GroupTreasury offers a diverse range of conventional and Islamic banking solutions and is responsible for the Group’s funding, investments, and centralised risk management activities. It manages the Bank’s borrowings, issuance of debt securities, and use of derivatives to mitigate financial risk, while investing in a range of instruments, including green bonds, short-term placements, and corporate and sovereign debt securities.Job Purpose:To lead and manage ADCB’s Equities Delta Trading desk with full accountability for strategy, execution, risk management, and performance across regional and global equity markets, leveraging expertise in delta one products (such as cash equities, equity index futures, and ETFs) while driving risk-adjusted returns, managing Profit & Loss (P&L), ensuring compliance, and enhancing execution and product offerings, and advancing ADCB’s trading strategy, market access and innovation in equity execution.In this role, your key responsibilities include:Define and execute the strategic direction of the ADCB’s Equities Delta Trading desk, aligning with the Banks broader trading objectives and market expansion goals Lead and optimise execution of trades across delta one products including cash equities, equity index futures, and ETFs, ensuring the best execution and adherence to market structureMonitor and manage trading exposures within approved limits; escalate breaches and recommend adjustments to maintain risk integrity and compliance with ADCB’s risk frameworkResearch and analyze macroeconomic trends, sector dynamics, and liquidity flows to identify trading opportunities and inform strategyEvaluate and monitor competitor offerings to ensure the Bank is up to date on market developments, product evolution and industry best practiceMaintain full adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards across all trading activitiesLead and ensure quality checks are practiced end-to-end process and operations readiness in case of new product/service releases in order to support Treasury Business UnitsManage and monitor change control and configuration management to ensure in accordance with departmental processes and proceduresPartner with Sales, Structuring, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to enhance execution quality, product offering, and operational efficiencyThe ideal candidate should have the following experience: At least 9 years of experience in equities trading, with a strong track record in delta one strategies across cash equities, index futures, and ETFsBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or related fieldCFA, FRM, or equivalent preferredDeep Expertise in Equity Markets, Delta One Products and Trading StrategiesProven Leadership and Team ManagementAdvanced Knowledge of Market Structure, Liquidity and Execution TechnologyStrong Command of Risk, Compliance and Governance FrameworksEffective CommunicatorSound Decision-MakingStakeholder EngagementTrading Platforms, Analytics and Data-Driven Strategic skills
