This is a remote role, and we're looking for someone based within the CET time zone (or close enough to work effectively with the team).Hypemasters is a fast-growing game development company behind World War Armies and other upcoming titles. We're building strategy games that combine depth, innovation, and community-driven gameplay, with players at the core of everything we do.We're looking for a QA Engineer to strengthen QA across our mobile live games. Working closely with the QA Lead and developers, you'll help ensure builds are stable, compliant, and release-ready. Experience with release management, a working understanding of full-stack development, and exposure to live ops/live games are essential for this role.ResponsibilitiesTest mobile builds on real devices for functionality, performance, and stabilityCreate, execute, and maintain detailed test plans and test casesIdentify, document, and track bugs through to resolutionValidate fixes and confirm release readinessSupport release processes, including build creation, PR merges, and store submissionsValidate live updates, hotfixes, and events as part of live operations supportCollaborate with developers, production, and the QA Lead to improve quality and workflowsRequirements3+ years of experience in game QA, with strong mobile testing expertiseExperience working on mobile live games and live operationsTesting experience on mid-core mobile games; experience testing a strategy game is a plusProven experience with release managementWorking understanding of full-stack development workflowsComfortable operating in an agile environment under a QA LeadExcellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detailStrong written communication and structured bug reportingHands-on experience with Xcode, Android Studio, ADB, Apptim, and GameBenchNice to have: SQL knowledge and automation testing experience
