The organization is committed to maintaining its tradition of engineering excellence and customer satisfaction in all aspects of its work.Role Description The MEP Quantity Surveyor role at ELMACS is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. The role involves preparing and reviewing quantity take-offs, bills of quantities, and cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on assigned projects. The MEP Quantity Surveyor will monitor project costs, evaluate variations, assist with tender submissions, and support contract negotiations. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with project engineers, site teams, and subcontractors, verifying measurement records, and preparing interim and final payment applications. The role also requires maintaining up-to-date documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and contributing to value engineering and cost control initiatives.Qualifications Strong MEP quantity surveying skills, including measurement, cost estimation, and preparation of bills of quantities.Proficiency in contract administration, including variation assessment, claims preparation, and payment certification.Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.Competence in using quantity surveying and estimation software, as well as MS Office tools for reporting and documentation.Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.Relevant experience in MEP contracting, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary project teams on-site.Knowledge of local construction regulations, industry standards, and best practices in MEP works.Professional certifications or membership in a recognized quantity surveying or engineering body are an advantage.
