Overview & ResponsibilitiesPURPOSE OF THE JOBThe principal activities are collecting, developing, analyzing, coordinating, directing, recommending, and presenting the results of the analyses to financial management, operations management and senior executives.SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITES/COMPETENCIESAccurate, consistent and timely reporting of financial data in accordance with regional and corporate schedulesProcess ownership of Business Unit monthly outlooks, quarterly forecast and annual plan, including preparation and consolidation of financial informationDevelop and maintain financial models for monthly outlooks, quarterly forecasts and annual plansComplete informed variance analysis of actual results and forecast projections vs defined comparatorsInform and advise Commercial Financial Manager of all significant financial matters as they ariseAnalyze to understand actual expenses and forecasts, trends and have input into any spend management actions requiredReport information so that action may be taken to enhance operating resultsCalculation of annual absorption & burden ratesAssist in the preparation of Capital plans and forecastsAdministration of capital spend requestsPreparation of the financial models to support capital expenditureOversee capital spending reviews to review financial performance compared to assumptions included in the justificationOther analysis as required on an adhoc basisBackground And ExperienceProfessional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)Experience of management accounting practicesMust be able to demonstrate strong forecasting and planning skills covering the full P&LStrong analytical skills and excel knowledgeThe ability to work to strict deadlines with minimal supervisionStrong interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsThe ability to explain complex financial information in a clear wayPrevious experience with percentage of completion revenue recognition and absorption costing are preferred4 - 6 years of relevant working experience in a multinational work environment.Base Location & Work ScheduleThis is a full time permanent position based in KEZAD Free Zone in Abu Dhabi.
