If you are drawn to hospitality with soul and substance, the Colbert Collection is your kind of place.We are looking for a qualified Cluster Carpenter to cut, fabricate and install wooden and other structures according to specifications. Your job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products. Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials (e.g. fiberglass)according to measurements Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using rawmaterials or pre-constructed items Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall, ensuring they are level and compatible Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items and installthem where designated Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance Build scaffolding and other construction structures Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assignedExperience Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxuryproperty required Pre-opening experience is an advantageRequirement Proven work experience as a Carpenter Active listening and effective communication skills Flexibility to work in shifts Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform wellin a fast-paced environmentNot the right fit?
