وصف الوظيفة
Before a Gulf company spends money on a U.S. launch, its owners want answers: who already sells there, which distributors carry similar products, what a state requires before the first sale. Our consultants in Dubai build those answers with the client, and the Research Assistant finds and checks the facts behind them. The clients are in the Gulf, so the work sits in Dubai and runs on the clients' working day. Dune's leadership is in Las Vegas, about half a day behind, and reads your notes when its morning starts. The job is full-time and remote from anywhere in the UAE. Here is what the work looks like. - Collect data on U.S. markets, competitors and distributors from databases, company filings and trade sources. - Read regulations and licensing rules at their official source and summarise what applies to the client. - Build comparison tables and short research notes for the consultants. - Check the figures in client files and flag the ones that do not add up. - Keep a log of every source so each number can be traced. - Put together the background pack before client meetings. To do this well you need: A bachelor's in business, economics, international relations or a related field Some research experience from a job, an internship or a university project. Excel, including filters and pivot tables It also helps to have: A market database such as Statista, IBISWorld or Capital IQ Charts and slides in PowerPoint An interest in how companies enter new markets Working with us comes with: Full-time, permanent contract, working from home in the UAE Medical insurance from your first day 30 calendar days of annual leave plus the UAE public holidays End-of-service gratuity under UAE labour law Fees paid for one professional course or exam each year A laptop and a one-time allowance to set up your home desk Dune Strategy advises companies that want to enter the U.S. market, many of them family groups and trading companies from the Gulf. Head office: Las Vegas.
