Job Title: Senior Performance Benchmarking SpecialistLocation: United Arab Emirates (Remote)Employment Type: Full-TimeWork Arrangement: 100% Remote — Work From HomeAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Performance Benchmarking Specialist to evaluate software, applications, and infrastructure through structured performance testing and benchmarking. The successful candidate will establish performance baselines, identify bottlenecks, measure system efficiency, and provide actionable recommendations to improve scalability, responsiveness, reliability, and resource utilization.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute performance benchmarks for applications, APIs, databases, distributed systems, and infrastructure.Establish performance baselines, service-level objectives, and measurable benchmarks for critical workloads.Conduct load, stress, endurance, scalability, and regression testing under realistic operating conditions.Analyze latency, throughput, resource consumption, concurrency, and system response patterns.Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering teams to develop optimization strategies.Build and maintain automated benchmarking frameworks, test scripts, and repeatable performance test environments.Compare system configurations, software versions, hardware options, and architectural approaches using consistent testing methodologies.Monitor CPU, memory, storage, network, and database performance to determine resource constraints.Prepare technical reports, dashboards, and benchmark summaries for engineering teams and management.Recommend performance improvements and validate their effectiveness through follow-up testing.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.At least 5–8 years of experience in performance engineering, benchmarking, quality assurance, or systems optimization.Strong understanding of performance metrics, workload modeling, latency analysis, throughput, and scalability testing.Experience with benchmarking and load-testing tools such as Apache JMeter, k6, Gatling, or Locust.Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, or comparable tools.Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go.Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, APIs, databases, distributed systems, and containerized environments.Experience automating performance tests and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.Strong analytical, documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with remote engineering teams.What We OfferCompetitive compensation based on qualifications and professional experience.A 100% remote working arrangement with flexible coordination across distributed teams.Opportunities to contribute to performance improvement and technology optimization initiatives.A collaborative environment that supports innovation, professional development, and continuous learning.How to ApplyInterested candidates should submit an updated CV and a brief cover letter highlighting their experience in performance benchmarking, load testing, performance analysis, and system optimization.Email Subject: Application – Senior Performance Benchmarking Specialist (United Arab Emirates Remote)Candidates should confirm applicable employment arrangements, residency requirements, and work authorization before accepting an offer.
