We’re Hiring: Quantity Surveyor – Exhibitions & EventsLocation: Dubai, UAEIndustry: Exhibitions, Events & ExperientialEmployment Type: Full-TimeBuild Up is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Cost Estimator with a strong background in exhibition stands, event production, and design & build projects.The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for reviewing and understanding RFPs, client requirements, and designs, and translating them into accurate and complete Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and commercial quotations. The QS must ensure all project requirements are properly reflected in the BOQ and quotation, with no missing scope or major discrepancies.Strong technical understanding, attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills are essential.Experience & RequirementsProven experience in Quantity Surveying / Cost Estimation, including a minimum of 3 years specifically within Exhibition Stands & EventsHands-on experience in exhibition stands and event production is essentialStrong experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, tendering, and subcontractor pricingStrong understanding of exhibition and event production, including:Good understanding of Event Technology & Activations, including interactive and digital experiencesStrong commercial awareness with proven skills in negotiation, value engineering, cost optimization, and supplier managementUAE/GCC experience is requiredExperience in turnkey fit-out projects is an advantageArabic language is an added advantageKey ResponsibilitiesReview and fully understand RFPs, tender documents, and client requirements.Ensure all RFP requirements are accurately reflected in the BOQ and commercial quotation.Interpret designs, CAD drawings, and specifications and convert them into detailed BOQs.Identify missing scope, discrepancies, and unclear requirements between the RFP and design.Coordinate with Sales, Design, and Operations teams to clarify project requirements.Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and competitive quotations.Ensure quotations are complete, compliant with the RFP, and submitted on time.Prepare internal budgets and manage project variations.The Candidate We’re Looking ForWe are specifically looking for someone who understands how exhibition stands and events are actually produced and built, not only a traditional construction Quantity Surveyor.Candidates with previous experience in exhibition design & build companies, event production companies, experiential agencies, pavilion projects, or major exhibition contractors will be strongly preferred.📩 Interested candidates:Please send your updated CV to [بيانات التواصل متاحة عبر زر التقديم]#Hiring #QuantitySurveyor #CostEstimator #Exhibitions #ExhibitionIndustry #EventProduction #EventsIndustry #Tendering #BOQ #CostEstimation #DubaiJobs #UAEJobs #DesignAndBuild #ExperientialEvents
