Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job DescriptionProject Director – Infrastructure ( Roads and Utilities)Abu Dhabi, UAEWe are supporting a leading master developer in the UAE in the appointment of a Project Director to lead the delivery of major infrastructure works, with a strong focus on roads and utilities, within large-scale construction programs.The Project Director will oversee the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.What You’ll Be DoingAct as the primary representative with clients, contractors, consultants, and government authoritiesLead the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects, with a focus on roads, utilities, and associated worksOversee project execution plans, including health & safety, quality assurance/control, and risk management frameworksManage and direct multidisciplinary teams, ensuring optimal resource allocation and performanceMonitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and KPIs to ensure successful deliveryIdentify and mitigate risks, delays, and cost overruns through proactive planning and corrective actionsLead commercial discussions, including scope changes, claims, and variationsEnsure full compliance with local regulations, standards, and client requirementsProvide regular reporting to senior stakeholders on project status, key milestones, and critical issuesSupport stakeholder engagement and maintain strong relationships with all project partiesDrive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices across project deliveryWhat Required Skills You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical disciplineMinimum 20+ years of experience in infrastructure project delivery, with a strong emphasis on constructionProven track record delivering large-scale roads and utilities projects.Extensive experience managing large, multidisciplinary engineering and construction teamsMandatory Middle East experience.In-depth knowledge of infrastructure standards and regulations.What Desired Skills You’ll BringProfessional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is an advantageExperience working with major developers or government entities in the UAEStrong familiarity with Abu Dhabi authorities, approval processes, and regulatory frameworksExperience in PMC, client-side, or developer-side rolesStrategic mindset with the ability to align project delivery with broader business objectivesProven ability to drive performance, accountability, and team development in large organizationParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
