We're Hiring | Specialist Gastroenterologist📍 Location: Dubai💼 Employment Type: Full-TimeA leading healthcare facility in Dubai is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Specialist Gastroenterologist to join its medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing gastrointestinal, liver, and digestive system disorders while delivering high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage gastrointestinal disorders, including GERD, peptic ulcer disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and irritable bowel syndromeConduct comprehensive patient assessments and interpret laboratory, imaging, and endoscopic investigationsPerform diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy, within approved clinical privilegesEvaluate and manage liver diseases, including hepatitis, fatty liver disease, and cirrhosisDevelop individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic digestive disordersDiagnose and manage gastrointestinal bleeding, pancreatic disorders, and biliary tract diseasesProvide pre-procedure and post-procedure care, ensuring patient safety and appropriate follow-upCollaborate with general surgeons, hepatologists, oncologists, and other medical specialistsEducate patients regarding digestive health, lifestyle modifications, preventive care, and treatment optionsEnsure compliance with DHA regulations, infection control protocols, and patient safety standardsMaintain accurate medical documentation and participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and continuous professional developmentRequirementsQualifications & RequirementsMBBS/MBChB or equivalent recognized medical qualificationRecognized postgraduate specialization in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, or an equivalent approved training pathwayBoard certification, fellowship, or equivalent recognized qualification in GastroenterologyValid DHA License or Eligibility Letter, or eligibility to obtain oneRelevant post-specialization clinical experience meeting UAE PQR requirements for the Specialist titleDemonstrated expertise in gastrointestinal endoscopy and digestive disease managementStrong clinical judgment, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skillsBenefitsCompetitive, tax-free salary packageComprehensive medical insurance and employment benefitsAccess to modern endoscopy facilities and advanced diagnostic technologiesOpportunities for professional development and career advancementSupportive and collaborative multidisciplinary working environmentLong-term career growth opportunities in DubaiImportant Note for ApplicantsIf you have already submitted your CV to Astra Promed FZC , please do not reapply for the same or other advertised positions.
