As a Barback, you'll be the backbone of our bar operations, providing essential support to our bartenders and servers while maintaining the highest standards of service and cleanliness. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where your organizational skills and collaborative spirit will directly contribute to an exceptional guest experience.Provide professional, friendly, and engaging support to bartenders and servers throughout all service periodsEfficiently stock, organize, and maintain all bar supplies, equipment, and inventory on a daily basisPrepare and set up all bar stations according to outlet standards and procedures before service beginsAssist guests with inquiries regarding beverage offerings, menu items, and promotions in a helpful and informative mannerMaintain comprehensive knowledge of beverage lists, cocktail preparations, and promotional offeringsEnsure proper handling, storage, and rotation of all beverages and bar supplies following health and safety protocolsKeep all guest-facing and back-of-house bar areas clean, organized, and well-maintained throughout serviceMonitor and manage bar inventory levels, alerting management to stock needs and discrepanciesHandle cash and payment transactions accurately and securelyCollaborate seamlessly with the bar team to ensure smooth operations during peak service timesFollow all outlet policies, procedures, and service standards consistentlyPerform additional duties as assigned by management to support overall bar operationsQualificationsPrevious barback or hospitality experience is highly valuedDemonstrated ability to deliver professional, engaging, and friendly service consistentlyStrong capability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume bar environmentsSolid knowledge of beverage offerings, cocktails, and bar operationsExcellent teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within a close-knit teamDetail-oriented approach with strong organizational and time management abilitiesPhysical capability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout your shiftAbility to lift and carry items weighing 30+ pounds regularlyFlexibility to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidaysStrong communication skills and ability to multitask effectivelyProficiency in cash handling and basic point-of-sale systemsKnowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations in food and beverage serviceProblem-solving mindset with a proactive and resilient approach to challengesCommitment to maintaining professional appearance and grooming standardsWillingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and systems
