Job Purpose: To manage, operate, and enhance Linux‑based server environments, deployment pipelines, containerized runtimes, and network services with high reliability and expert‑level troubleshooting. The role ensures stable infrastructure operations, efficient deployments, secure configurations, and continuous performance monitoring across virtualized and containerized platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesServer & OS Administration — Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and troubleshoot Linux servers and virtual machines; ensure high availability and performance.Deployment & Monitoring Tools — Implement, operate, and optimize deployment pipelines and monitoring systems; ensure proactive detection and resolution of issues.Container Runtime Management — Manage Docker and equivalent runtimes; build, deploy, and maintain containerized applications.Kubernetes Operations — Support cluster operations, deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting in Kubernetes environments.OpenShift & Kafka Support — Assist in platform operations; learn and adopt OpenShift and Kafka as needed.TCP/IP Networking — Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize network communication, routing, and connectivity.Linux Network Services — Administer and secure Linux‑based network services with expert‑level proficiency.Nginx & Reverse Proxy Management — Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot Nginx or equivalent web servers.Required Skills & ExperienceLinux Server Administration — Average to expert level; mandatoryVirtualization (VMs) — Average to expert level; mandatoryDeployment Tools — Average to expert level; mandatoryMonitoring Tools — Average to expert level; mandatoryDocker / Container Runtimes — Average to expert level; mandatoryTCP/IP Networking Concepts — Average to expert level; mandatoryLinux Network Services — Expert level; mandatoryKubernetes — PreferredNginx or Equivalent — PreferredOpenShift, Kafka — Optional (training provided)
