Job Title: Senior Branch AccountantLocation: Musaffah / Abu Dhabi, UAECompany: Apex Gulf Trading LLCReports To: Branch Head / Operations ManagementSupervises: Junior Accounts / Support AssistantRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced, proactive Senior Branch Accountant to oversee end-to-end financial operations at our Abu Dhabi branch. The candidate will take full charge of branch accounting, general ledger entries, VAT compliance, and reporting, with heavy emphasis on Accounts Receivable (AR), credit control, and overdue customer collections.This role involves direct stakeholder management—coordinating closely with sales leadership (Ali) and supervising branch accounting support staff to ensure accurate, timely reconciliation and healthy cash flow.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable & Credit Control:Proactively follow up on outstanding receivables, aged balances, and overdue invoices via phone, email, and customer visits where necessary.Reconcile debtor statements monthly and resolve billing or delivery disputes in coordination with sales and warehouse teams.Establish and monitor customer credit terms, credit limits, and aging reports (30 / 60 / 90+ days).Full-Cycle Branch Accounting:Manage general ledger entries, cash/bank reconciliations, and petty cash controls.Review and match supplier payables, purchase invoices, and delivery notes.Prepare monthly branch Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and working capital summaries.Manage UAE VAT recording, reporting, and quarterly filing support.Team Supervision & Workflow Coordination:Supervise and delegate operational tasks (data entry, invoicing, statement generation, payment receipt archiving) to branch assistant staff.Maintain harmonious, efficient coordination with branch sales personnel to balance sales facilitation with tight financial discipline.
