Role DescriptionAn Architect is responsible for developing architectural designs, preparing technical drawings, and delivering practical design solutions while coordinating with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, and project teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop architectural concepts, layouts, plans, elevations, and details.Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.Translate client requirements into practical and functional design solutions.Coordinate architectural designs with structural, civil, MEP, and other disciplines.Conduct site visits, inspections, and design assessments.Review shop drawings, materials, samples, and technical submissions.Ensure designs comply with building codes, regulations, and project requirements.Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.Identify and resolve design conflicts and technical issues.Monitor construction work against approved designs and specifications.Support RFIs, design changes, variations, and site-related technical matters.Assist with authority submissions, permits, and project approvals.Prepare design presentations, reports, and project updates.Support value engineering and cost-effective design solutions.Ensure architectural deliverables meet required quality, accuracy, and deadlines.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.Relevant experience in architectural design, construction, or consultancy.Strong knowledge of architectural principles, materials, detailing, and construction methods.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design software.Experience preparing architectural and technical construction drawings.Good understanding of building codes, regulations, and authority requirements.Strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary project teams.Excellent creative, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and design accuracy.Good communication, presentation, and client-management skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project documentation.UAE/GCC architectural and construction experience is advantageous.Professional, organized, reliable, and proactive approach.
