🗂 We’re Hiring: Animation Production Manager | Character Development Artist🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time💼 Level: Mid-Level to SeniorWe are seeking a creative and highly organized Animation Production Manager | Character Development Artist to oversee animation production workflows, coordinate creative teams, and develop compelling character concepts for animated projects. This role combines production management with artistic development, focusing on coordinating animation schedules, managing creative resources, developing character designs, and ensuring high-quality visual storytelling across animation productions. The ideal candidate will have strong artistic capabilities, production coordination experience, and a passion for animation and character design.🎯 Key Responsibilities• Plan, coordinate, and oversee animation production activities from concept development to final delivery.• Develop production schedules, project timelines, resource plans, and workflow arrangements.• Create and refine character concepts, designs, expressions, poses, and visual development materials.• Collaborate with animators, illustrators, storyboard artists, modelers, and creative directors.• Coordinate character development processes, including visual references, character turnarounds, and design consistency.• Monitor production progress and ensure animation projects meet creative requirements and delivery deadlines.• Review character designs, animation sequences, and visual assets to maintain artistic quality and consistency.• Manage production resources, project budgets, and creative team assignments.• Provide creative feedback and technical guidance to improve character development and animation quality.• Coordinate with storyboarding, modeling, rigging, layout, and animation departments throughout production.• Identify production challenges and implement solutions to improve workflow efficiency.• Prepare production reports, project updates, and creative development documentation for management review.✅ Requirements• Proven experience in animation production, character design, visual development, or creative project management.• Strong understanding of animation production pipelines, character development, and digital animation workflows.• Experience creating character concepts, model sheets, expressions, and visual design references.• Proficiency in animation and design software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.• Strong artistic abilities, creativity, and visual storytelling skills.• Excellent project coordination, time management, and organizational abilities.• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary creative teams.• Ability to manage multiple production tasks and meet project deadlines.• Familiarity with 2D animation, 3D animation, rigging, and storyboarding processes is an advantage.• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Digital Arts, Character Design, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred.
