We are proud of our people and the work they do, and we look after the safety of everyone on our projects.About the jobWe are looking for a Junior Project Engineer – Electrical to join our projects team in Abu Dhabi. You will support engineering and project delivery for electrical scopes on oil and gas projects, from design through to close-out. The role is office-based, with site, client, vendor and FAT visits when the project needs them. It suits an electrical engineer who wants to grow their project execution experience on EPC work.What you will doCoordinate electrical engineering activities through to project close-out, in line with contract scope, specifications, schedule and client requirementsPrepare and coordinate electrical deliverables, including calculations, load lists, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, equipment layouts, lighting, earthing and wiring documentsReview scopes, standards, drawings and technical documents, and raise clarifications where neededManage design interfaces with instrumentation, process, mechanical, civil, telecom, procurement, project controls and construction teamsHandle technical queries, review comments and document status, and keep records of design decisionsPrepare datasheets and material specifications, and support technical bid evaluations and vendor document reviewsWork with clients, consultants, vendors and subcontractors on deliverables and approvals, and report progress and risks to the Project ManagerSupport procurement, construction, QA/QC and commissioning, including site visits, inspections, testing and FATsContribute to method statements, ITPs, risk assessments and procedures, and help close out NCRs and punch itemsCoordinate close-out documents, including as-builts, O&M manuals, test records and vendor documentsWhat you will bringBachelor’s degree in Electrical EngineeringAt least 5 years of electrical engineering or project execution experience in oil and gas, petrochemical or related industriesKnowledge of HV, MV and LV distribution, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, motors, cables, lighting, earthing and protection systemsExperience reviewing calculations, drawings, datasheets and equipment documents against codes and client standardsFamiliarity with material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, vendor document reviews, document control and hazardous-area requirementsClear technical communication and progress reporting skillsEPC experience is preferred; experience on ADNOC onshore or offshore projects is an advantageWhy join usBe part of a company with 50 years in the UAE energy sectorWork on oil and gas projects across the full lifecycle, from design to close-outGain hands-on exposure to clients, vendors, site and FAT activitiesJoin a collaborative team that values quality, safety and continuous improvementBuild your career with a respected Abu Dhabi employerHow to applyPlease click Apply and submit your CV.
