We have one of the largest dedicated team with decades of cumulative experience in sustainable design, fire and life safety, cost management, façade engineering, commissioning, building performance, waste management, environmental consultancy, carbon management and acoustics.Job PurposeDeliver mechanical designs that prioritize safety, durability, and performance, ensuring longevity and operational efficiency.Apply sustainable engineering practices by integrating water-saving technologies, eco-friendly materials, and energy-efficient systems. Recommend green solutions to clients and stakeholders, emphasizing long-term environmental and economic benefits.Contribute to the successful execution of projects.Qualification / ExperienceDegree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering fieldMembership of a professional institution (CIBSE, ASHRAE, IMechE or equivalent).Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Mechanical Building Services Design.Strong knowledge of local UAE / GCC codes and regulations related to Mechanical system design.Proficiency in design software such asRevit and AutoCADHAPIES Virtual EnvironmentHevacompGENERAL EXPECTANCY Significant experience and advanced competencies.Able to work independently on complex tasks.ResponsibilitiesUndertake mechanical engineering calculations and system design for all project stages from concept through detailed design.Develop designs for:HVAC systemsChilled water systemsVentilation systemsSmoke management systemsProduce technical reports, calculations and engineering studies.Support equipment selection and system sizing.Develop energy-efficient and sustainable engineering solutions.Ensure designs comply with project briefs and client requirements.PROJECT DELIVERYDeliver mechanical engineering design packages in accordance with project programmes.Support project managers in achieving project objectives and deadlines.Coordinate design activities with internal and external stakeholders.Attend client, design and coordination meetings.Participate in workshops, technical reviews and value engineering exercises.Contribute to successful project delivery across multiple simultaneous projects.BEHAVIOURAL CONPETENCIESStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.Strong organisational and time management abilities.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Positive and proactive attitude.Client-focused mindset.Desire to learn and develop professionally.
