With a collective strength of 5 brands, we have more than 123 million monthly users that trust in our dedication to providing them with the best platform for their needs.As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be in a central position, evangelising data and our methodologies to other functional analysts and stakeholders across the company. You will have close interaction with teams in marketing, sales, finance, and product.In this role, you will:Access data, construct, and manipulate large datasets to support planned analyses using SQL, Python, and similar toolsDesign and develop BI dashboards with Sisense or similar tools (Tableau, Power BI, Data Studio) for various organisational metrics and indicators, applying best practices and industry standards across finance, sales, inventory, and other areasConduct full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and designDefine KPIs and metrics, and drive data governance through standardisation and communicationCreate the documentation and presentation for the managementDevelop analysis and reporting capabilities; monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvementsAdept at queries, report writing and presenting findingsResearch and validate entity data using appropriate internal and external data sourcesValidate entity reference data in a central account databaseResponsible for exception management, reconciliation, and reportingLiaise and perform analysis across projects within the Reference Data environmentAnalyse, identify specifications, test, and implement interfaces, workflow solutions, and reference data solutions - for example, regression testing systems ahead of upgradesTake ownership of allocated work throughout its entire life cycleDevelop new models to address business needs and identify and implement improvements to existing solutions; projects are diverse and can take several forms (e.g., simulation, linear/non-linear optimisation, prediction, machine learning)Participate in the design, implementation, and interpretation of experiments and trials to continuously refine ongoing strategiesResponsible for data quality and the timely delivery of reports that make common business senseCreate and maintain documentation for analytics, tools, and processes to ensure effective transition to the end userPrepare and deliver Data Analytics & Reporting training to evangelise data across the organisationBe able to work autonomously without supervision on complex projectsRequirementsBachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related fieldA master's degree is a plus6+ years of work experience in analytics, having closely worked with product and commercials in an internet/e-commerce companyExperience in e-commerce, internet and/or digital mediaExperience building, implementing and/or maintaining predictive models on very large datasetsProficient in SQLProficient in Microsoft ExcelSkills in Python, R or similar tools are a big plusKnowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc)Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to translate data and information into actionable insights and business recommendations Ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information. with attention to detail and accuracyStorytelling skillsWritten and verbal proficiency in EnglishProactive and passionate: You are independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems and delivering high-quality results in challenging situationsPassion for data and metricsHands-on attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentHighly motivated, professional and creativeAnalytical thinking; Conceptual thinking; Detail-oriented; Business AcumenStrong curiosity and a striving for continuous learningAbility to work in a high-paced environment that is professional, international and entrepreneurialLiving the team values: Simpler.
