Company DescriptionSofitel Al Hamra Beach ResortJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in guest rooms and common areas. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will take ownership of your assigned spaces, ensuring that our guests experience a clean, welcoming environment that contributes to their overall satisfaction and creates memorable moments during their stay.Clean and prepare all assigned guest rooms and common areas according to established hotel standards and proceduresInspect rooms thoroughly for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and guest safety, reporting any concerns to managementOrganize and manage cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently, maintaining inventory levelsProvide exceptional customer service by anticipating guest needs and responding professionally to requestsTake initiative to personalize the guest experience through attention to detail and thoughtful touchesRespect guest privacy and handle personal belongings with care and discretionWork collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operationsMaintain a flexible schedule, including availability for weekend and holiday shifts on a rotating basisFollow all safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipmentCommunicate effectively with supervisors regarding room status, maintenance needs, and guest feedbackQualificationsWarm, caring personality with a genuine commitment to guest satisfactionExcellent organizational skills and strong time management abilitiesProven ability to work independently while remaining collaborative with team membersAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standardsPhysical stamina and capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periodsReliability, punctuality, and professional demeanor in all interactionsFlexibility to work rotating schedules, including weekends and holidaysStrong communication skills and ability to take direction constructivelyKnowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety protocols (preferred)Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience (asset, not required)Ability to adapt to a diverse, multicultural work environmentWillingness to learn and embrace continuous improvement in service delivery
