K E Y R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S1. FTA Tax Agent Licence & Firm Registration▸ Maintain our firm's listing on the FTA Tax Agent Register under your licence▸ Ensure the firm remains compliant with all FTA Tax Agent regulations and the code ofconduct▸ Manage the annual renewal of the Tax Agent registration and associated documentation▸ Act as the named Tax Agent for the firm in all official FTA correspondence and portal activities2. Client Portfolio Management▸ Manage Tax Agent appointments for all our clients on the EmaraTax portal (FTA Portal)▸ Oversee filing of VAT returns, Corporate Tax returns, and other submissions on behalf ofclients▸ Submit voluntary disclosures, reconsideration requests, and respond to FTA queries▸ Handle client de-registrations, amendments, and exception applications▸ Represent clients in FTA audit processes and correspondence3. Client Relationship & Communication▸ Serve as the primary point of contact for all clients on tax matters▸ Communicate filing deadlines, compliance requirements, and regulatory updates to clients▸ Conduct client onboarding — collect TRN details, trade licences, KYC documents, and powerof attorney▸ Advise clients on VAT, Corporate Tax, and Excise Tax implications relevant to their business▸ Maintain professional relationships with business owners, CFOs, and senior management4. Compliance Oversight▸ Ensure all client filings are accurate, complete, and submitted within FTA deadlines▸ Maintain organised, audit-ready records for every client▸ Monitor FTA updates, public clarifications, and regulatory changes and apply them to clientmatters▸ Identify compliance gaps in client accounts and advise on remediation5. Internal Operations▸ Maintain a comprehensive deadline tracker covering the entire client portfolio▸ Develop and improve internal SOPs for FTA portal workflows▸ Coordinate with accounts, legal, and third-party auditors as needed▸ Train and mentor junior staff or assistants as the team grows
