Together, we Make the Place.THE TEAMThe Purchasing team at Rosewood Abu Dhabi plays a critical role in supporting daily hotel operations by ensuring the timely procurement of high-quality goods and services. Through strong supplier partnerships, effective inventory management, and operational excellence, the team helps maintain the luxury standards expected across all departments.As a Purchasing Supervisor, you will report to the Purchasing Manager and work closely with Receiving, Storeroom, Finance, Cost Control, and operational teams to ensure efficient procurement processes and optimal inventory control.YOUR ROLEAs a Purchasing Supervisor, you will support the Purchasing Manager in overseeing procurement activities, vendor management, inventory controls, and purchasing administration. You will ensure that goods and services are sourced efficiently, competitively, and in accordance with company policies and operational requirements.You will play an important role in maintaining supplier relationships, supporting inventory management, ensuring compliance with purchasing procedures, and driving value for the business through effective purchasing practices.HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACESupport daily procurement operations by sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the delivery of goods and services across the hotelBuild and maintain strong relationships with approved suppliers while identifying alternative sources to maximize value and qualityMonitor inventory levels, stock movement, and storage practices to ensure operational readiness and minimize wasteCollaborate with Receiving, Storeroom, and Cost Control teams to maintain accurate inventory records and compliance standardsPrepare quotations, price comparisons, bid analyses, and purchasing reports to support informed decision-makingEnsure purchasing activities comply with company policies, HACCP requirements, and operational standardsCOULD THIS BE YOU?You have experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory management, or supply chain operations within hospitality or a similar industryYou possess strong organizational skills and can effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlinesYou have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and cost controlYou are confident managing supplier relationships, negotiations, and procurement administrationYou are comfortable working with inventory systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Office applicationsYou communicate fluently in English; additional language skills are an advantageOUR BENEFITSAs part of our team, you’ll enjoy a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your wellbeing, professional growth, and life beyond work.
